US Visitor/Tourist Visa (United States)
A Visitor or Tourist Visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows a person to enter the United States temporarily for tourism or to visit family.
What you can and cannot do with a US visitor/tourist visa
If you hold a visitor visa, you may do the following:
- Visit the destination country
- Visit friends or family
- Visit tourist attractions
- Take short courses
- Attend business meetings
And here are the things you are not allowed to do if you only hold a visitor visa:
- Work
- Take long-term courses
This may vary depending on each country, so you need to read the regulations of each country.

How do you apply for a US Visitor/Tourist Visa at Konsultan Visa?
- You need to collect all the required documents and bring them to our office for us to process.
- Once the documents are complete, we will issue an invoice for you to pay.
- Send us the payment proof by Email or WhatsApp, and we will confirm your payment.
- After the payment is confirmed, we will process your visa application.
- We may contact you if we need additional information.
- We will arrange an appointment date for your interview session (of course, we will first ask when you are available to attend the interview).
- You can come to our office to collect the visa application documents we have prepared, or we can send them to you by email/WhatsApp for you to print yourself.
- You go to the US Embassy for your interview on the scheduled date. We recommend arriving one day earlier to find out where the interview process takes place and estimate how long it will take to get there, so you can arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
- Then you only need to wait for the visa result. During this waiting period, your passport will be held by the embassy, so make sure you do not have travel plans to other countries when applying for a US visa.
NOTE
Please note that the outcome of the visa application is entirely in the hands of the embassy, and we cannot intervene in their decision. Therefore, we can always reapply for the visa, but after you have a rejection history, the application process will become more difficult because you will need to explain why you were previously refused and what you have done to improve your case.
