What you can and cannot do with a Schengen visitor/tourist visa
If you hold a visitor visa, you are allowed to do the following:
- Visit the visa destination country
- Visit friends or family
- Visit tourist attractions
- Attend short courses
- Attend business meetings
And here are the things you are not allowed to do if you only hold a visitor visa:

How do you apply for a Schengen Visitor/Tourist Visa at Konsultan Visa?
- You need to gather all the required documents and bring them to our office for us to process.
- Once the documents are complete, we will issue an invoice for you to pay.
- Send us your payment proof via Email or WhatsApp, and we will confirm your payment.
- After payment is confirmed, we will proceed with your visa application.
- We may contact you if additional information is needed.
- We will book an appointment date for your biometrics process (of course, we will first ask when you are available to do biometrics).
- You may come to our office to collect the visa application documents we have prepared, or we can send them to you via Email/WhatsApp for you to print yourself.
- You go to VFS to complete your biometrics on the booked date. We recommend arriving one day earlier to find out the exact biometrics location and estimate how long it will take to get there, so you can arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
- All you need to do is wait for the visa result. During this waiting period, your passport will be held by the embassy, so make sure you do not have travel plans to another country while applying for a Schengen visa.
NOTE
Please note that the visa decision is entirely in the hands of the embassy, and we cannot intervene in their decision. That said, we can always submit the visa application again. However, once you have a rejection history, the application process will become more difficult because you will need to explain why you were previously refused and what you have done to address it.
Please also note that the biometrics location may differ for each Schengen country. In general, the process is carried out in Jakarta, but some countries allow you to complete biometrics in Bali. Below is the list of countries that allow biometrics processing in Bali:
| No. | Country |
|---|---|
| 1. | Germany |
| 2. | Belgium |
| 3. | Portugal |
| 4. | Netherlands |
| 5. | Austria |
